Commercial Epoxy Floor Coating – Designer Epoxy Finishes
We have specialized in specialty concrete coatings for indoor and outdoor commercial applications since 1995. We are the exclusive Qualified Applicator for Westcoat Specialty Coatings for the New York Metro area.
Epoxy finishes, as in our name, is a big part of our business because it is a strong, durable coating perfect for almost any application, from showrooms, hospitality and retail to commercial kitchens and warehouses.
We have experience with virtually all concrete coatings. Call us and let’s discuss your specific visual and durability needs and we’ll recommend the right coating for your application and budget. Having said that, these six types of concrete floor coatings are the ones we work with the most:
Industrial Epoxy Coatings
We offer many types of industrial coatings, including high build, non-skid and fast-curing options. We also offer coatings for heavier use areas, such as warehouses with forklift traffic, commercial kitchens and manufacturing plants. These include ultra-tough slurry or mortar epoxy coatings made from graded quartz sand, slurry power or silica.
Decorative Epoxy Coatings
There are many decorative but durable coatings useful in retail, office or restaurant settings. Including multi-colored latex chip floors and Westcoat’s Liquid Dazzle with its proprietary metallic additives.
Terrazzo Flooring
Terrazzo is poured on top of your concrete slab and is an epoxy resin matrix veneer that can be blended in any color and include a variety of glass, synthetic or granite aggregates (instead of marble). It is great for “seamless” floors because it requires minimal dividers (a good solution for sanitary areas), offers a cost-effective solution for multi-colored pattern and design applications and is often used in multi-floor applications because it is lightweight.
Texture-Crete and Waterproof Decking
This type of coating protects your plywood and concrete decking, balconies and roof decks by laying down a reliable moisture barrier. It beautifies at the same time with a variety of textures, finishes and patterns. Another version of this system, Texture-Crete from Westcoat, offers many options for concrete driveways, patios, office spaces and lobbies.
Self-Leveling Cement
We offer many brands of self-leveling cement in any thickness for a variety of applications, from underlayments to concrete wear surfaces that can be stained and sealed.
Polished Concrete
Polished concrete is concrete that has been treated with a chemical densifier and ground with progressively finer grinding tools. The grinding tools are usually progressive grits of diamond grinding cup wheels and diamond polishing pads. Typically, concrete is not considered polished before 400 grit, and it is normally finished to either the 800, 1500, or 3000 grit level. Stains and dyes are often applied to enhance polished concrete as well as other options such as scoring, creating radial lines, grids, bands, borders, and other designs.
